Captor: Michael Hargreave
Weight: 14lb 5oz
Date: August 1993

Michael writes: In August 1993 I caught a 14.5lb Salmon in the Thames at Boulters lock near Maidenhead. As far as I know this is the largest recorded (non-tidal) Thames salmon ever caught. There was press coverage in the Maidenhead advertiser at the time and the NRA (as they were then known) have a record of this I’m sure.
